how would you describe your style?

My style is bright, full of vibrant color, and natural.  I edit my photos to match as true to the colors in real life as possible, with a little bit of extra POP!  I pose and guide my clients into flattering angles, but I also love movement, candid moments, and lots of giggling!

when will i receive my photos?

we already had engagement photos done.  can we take that out of the wedding collection to save money?

my friend's wedding photographer lost all their photos. what do you do to ensure this doesn't happen to us?

what gear do you shoot with?

how long have you been a photographer?

how much coverage time do i need?

I've been shooting portraits since 2016 and weddings since 2017.  I never in a million years thought I would be a wedding photographer!  I studied child development in college and was happily working in the world of foster care.  I had always been interested in photography so I asked for a "big camera" for my birthday one year.  I quickly realized I loved it too much to just be a hobby!  Fast forward a few years and here I am, rocking the work-at-home mom life and I couldn't love it more!

I shoot Canon!  I have a Canon 5D Mark IV, 5D Mark III, Canon 50mm1.2, Canon 85mm1.4 (my BABY!!), Canon 35mm2.0, and Canon 100mm2.8 macro.  I also use an ExpoDisc to set my custom white balance so that I can get the images as perfect in camera as possible!  I consider myself a natural light photographer, but I am also fully equipped with a flash setup for dark church sanctuaries, after-dark wedding receptions, and anytime our indoor location needs a little fill-light!

This definitely depends on a few different factors, but most couples typically need 8 hours of coverage.  With an 8 hour timeline, I can capture all your lovely details, the getting ready photos of both the bride and groom, a first look, bride and groom portraits, wedding party photos, family portraits, ceremony and reception details, the ceremony, husband and wife sunset portraits, and the reception + the sendoff!  If you wish to have a longer reception or you have a very large wedding party, you may need more coverage!  I also have a smaller wedding collection for more intimate weddings.

I know you are SO EXCITED to see your photos!!! I will be diligently working on them!  I always post at least one sneak peak a few days after the wedding.  Your full gallery will be ready within 8 weeks.

The short answer is no, it cannot be exchanged for any monetary value or any other sessions.  It's so important for the three of us to work together before the big day for a few reasons.  First of all, it gets you two comfortable in front of my camera!  You'll see how I guide you, the initial awkwardness of taking photos melts away, and you can learn some of my posing directions so that on the wedding day, you'll be a pro!  For me, it helps to see how you two interact together and what your best poses are.  If you've already had engagement photos done, I say, why not do more?  You might as well take advantage of this complimentary gift!

This is every photographer's NIGHTMARE. I have put several measures in place to avoid this happening to my clients.  First of all, my second shooter and I only shoot with cameras that have a dual-card slot.  This means that every picture I take is recorded to two memory cards, so that if one malfunctions, I still have the images on the other card.  In addition, I have backup cameras, lenses, memory cards, and batteries with me at all times to avoid a gear malfunction.  During your wedding, I keep the filled-up memory cards on my body at all times so that they are safe and sound!  Once I get home, I immediately upload the cards to my computer and back them up to two hard drives AND a cloud-based backup service.  As one final protective measure, I never clear off your memory cards until I have edited, exported, and delivered your gallery to you!  Remember in my About Me section when I told you I was an enneagram type 1?  Now you have proof!
