She walked up behind him and tapped him on his shoulder. He turned, saw her, and immediately started beaming. She twirled for him, glowing with radiant joy. They hugged, they kissed, and they talked about their mornings and how they couldn’t believe this day was here. It was the sweetest first look and the sweetest day.
The word that comes to my mind to describe Brooke and Collin’s wedding day is JOY. So. Much. Joy. Brooke never stopped smiling. Her bridesmaids and her Mom and sister just laughed and chatted all day. Everyone oohed and ahhed over how gorgeous Brooke was All. Day. Long. Collin and his groomsmen were goofing off, laughing, and watching golf. The ceremony was so special, and the reception was a PARRRRTAAAAY. Brooke’s Dad took the microphone at the reception and thanked all the guests for coming and shared some stories about the new couple. Every moment of the day was just so heartfelt and genuine! And we couldn’t have gotten luckier with the most perfect weather! It rained the whole week leading up to this day and the whole week after, but on Sunday, May 19th, the skies were clear and that sun was glorious! (Scroll down for some gorgeous golden hour portraits!)
I was so honored to be part of such an amazing celebration of love and get to document two amazing people pledging their lives to each other and to Christ. Brooke and Collin, THANK YOU, and I wish you many many years of happiness!
