After photographing over 100 weddings, I have learned that being the photographer really is so much more than just taking photos. Our philosophy is to love and serve our clients above all else. We strive to deliver photos and films that will remain timeless with a crisp, true-to-color editing style. Terri guides our couples into natural, flattering poses that produce stunning portraits for your walls, while Max's natural creativity produces sweet candid moments that add to the storytelling side for film. As a photography videography husband and wife team, we offer our couples a unique approach to documenting their day and love being a part of our couples' dream team of vendors. We know that this is a once in a lifetime event and cannot be redone, and we don't take that lightly. We are honored to celebrate with our clients and their families and have the responsibility of preserving such precious memories.
I am so excited to meet you! Fill out my contact form and I will respond within 48 hours. If I am available on your date, we'll meet for coffee or set up a phone call to chat all things wedding! I'll then send you a contract and invoice through our easy-to-use online booking system. A $1,500 retainer is required to reserve your date.
My style is crisp, bright, full of vibrant color, and showcases a blend of natural posing and true candids. I edit my photos to match as true to the colors in real life as possible, with a little bit of extra pop! I pose and guide my clients into flattering angles, but I also love movement, candid moments, and lots of giggling!
I've been shooting portraits since 2016 and weddings since 2017. I never in a million years thought I would be a wedding photographer! I studied child development in college and was happily working in the world of foster care. I had always been interested in photography so I asked for a "big camera" for my birthday one year. I quickly realized I loved it too much to just be a hobby! Fast forward a few years and here I am! I've photographed over 100 weddings and still can't believe this is my job!
I'm a Canon girl. I have two R6 bodies and several lenses to get a variety of focal lengths, such as a wide lens for the large wedding party and a macro lens for those gorgeous macro details of your rings. I also use an ExpoDisc to set my custom white balance so that I can get the images as perfect in camera as possible! I consider myself a natural light photographer, but I am also fully equipped with a flash setup for dark church sanctuaries, after-dark wedding receptions, and anytime our indoor location needs a little fill-light!
This definitely depends on a few different factors, but most couples typically need 8-10 hours of coverage. If you are having a very detail-heavy wedding, multiple locations, a longer reception, or you have a very large wedding party, you may need more coverage! I will make you a custom timeline at the beginning of this process which will help guide you in those decisions along the way!
Absolutely. It's my job to make you look and feel your best. I've taken posing courses to teach me how to guide and direct my clients in ways that flatter their bodies (I've got alllll the tips and tricks!) and I also incorporate prompts to make you laugh, get those genuine smiles, and feel natural-not stiff. I love showing my clients the back of my camera while I'm shooting so you can see how good you look!
The short answer is no, it cannot be exchanged for any monetary value or any other sessions. It's so important for the three of us to work together before the big day for a few reasons. First of all, it gets you two comfortable in front of my camera! You'll see how I guide you, the initial awkwardness of taking photos melts away, and you can learn some of my posing directions so that on the wedding day, you'll be a pro! For me, it helps to see how you two interact together and what your best poses are. If you've already had engagement photos done, I say, why not do more? You might as well take advantage of this complimentary gift!
First of all, my second shooter and I only shoot with cameras that have a dual-card slot. This means that every picture I take is recorded to two memory cards, so that if one malfunctions, I still have the images on the other card. During your wedding, I keep the filled-up memory cards on my body at all times so that they are safe and sound! Once I get home, I immediately upload the cards to my computer and back them up to two hard drives AND a cloud-based backup service. As one final protective measure, I never clear off your memory cards until I have edited, exported, and delivered your gallery to you! The cards stay in a fireproof safe until they are ready to be cleared.
Your wedding day will come and go, but your photos will last you forever. You deserve joyful, timeless photos that tell the story of your day to pass down to your future children, their children, and even their children! These images are more than just your wedding photos — they are part of your legacy. I would be honored to be part of creating that legacy for you. Think we'd be a great match?
