Samira and Zubayr – A Stunning, Culture-Rich, Bengali Summer Wedding at Aspen Ranch

Samira and Zubayr’s stunning wedding was June 18th, 2022 at the gorgeous Aspen Ranch in Edmond, Oklahoma and was a day full of celebration, family, culture, traditions, and love. Samira wore two custom-made gowns that each complemented the theme of their day so well. Their day was full of Bangladeshi traditions that made their day special to them. Samira’s family members each played a role in getting her dressed-her siblings placed her bangles on her wrists, her future mother in law clasped her jewelry, and her parents placed her veil on her head. Some of my favorite moments were Zubayr leading the pre-ceremony parade on horseback, Samira arriving to that celebration in a horse-drawn carriage, and the two of them surprising their guests with fireworks during the reception. The whole day was so intentional and was truly something special to be a part of.

The talent that went into making this day possible was simply unmatched! Brandy with Blue Chalk Events and her team expertly planned the event and spared no detail. Kelly with Poppy Lane Design created a floral dream and turned Aspen Ranch’s venue space into a work of art. Aspen Ranch provided the most stunning location. So many others poured their heart and souls into making this day perfect for our sweet couple and it shows. It was an honor to work with such a talented team and to be invited into such a meaningful part of Samira and Zubayr’s lives! Here’s to the Rahmans!
