Meet Camden:   A bubbly, fun-loving, University of Oklahoma graduate and successful owner of her very own cookie company, Mixed Sugar.  I’m a little embarrassed to admit this, but the very first time I ate one of Camden’s sugar cookies, I legit thought about it for D A Y S afterwards!  Then a couple of weeks after that first cookie encounter, I went to a birthday party and what do you know…?!  They had Mixed Sugar sugar cookies and I was sooooooo happy.  Then a few weeks later I attended an open house and there she was again!  All of a sudden I started seeing this girl everywhere, and people were OBSESSED with her, just like I was!

The thing about Camden’s cookies are they aren’t just pretty (which let me just say, they are INSANELY pretty).  They are also seriously delicious.  During her session we were talking about her business and she told me when she was building Mixed Sugar, it was very important to her to perfect her cookie recipe and make sure that before she ever decorated a cookie, it was something that she actually wanted to eat!  And it paid off for her.  At just 22 years old, she’s a Brides of Oklahoma Vendor and is taking her business FULL-TIME!  This girl is on fire!!

I know this wasn’t the graduation she had pictured, but her family still found ways to make it special and memorable for her, and we had a ton of fun walking all over campus on the night she was supposed to graduate.  Her family met up with us during her session for some updated family photos (complete with masks because #COVID), we popped confetti, and -of course- we ate cookies!!!

Congratulations, Camden!!!  I’m so happy for you, girl!  Keep crushing it!

At the end of her session, Camden said she had a surprise for me.  She reached into her Mixed Sugar bag and pulled out THE MOST THOUGHTFUL gift– Terri Graves Photography cookies!!!!  I almost cried!  Look how perfect they are!  Thank you, thank you, thank you, Camden!!!
