Hudson Springs is a gorgeous new wedding venue located on over 160 acres of land in Guthrie, Oklahoma. The 7800 square foot building is filled with natural light, white shiplapped walls, and gorgeous chandeliers as well as both indoor and outdoor options for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception areas. Last week, I toured the venue and asked the owners some questions about their new space. Read on to see if this wedding venue is the space you’ve been searching for!
Me: What makes Hudson Springs special?
HS: Hudson Springs is really unique because we’re a mix of rustic and elegance. We’re very spacious-7800 square feet inside! We’re far enough out of town that couples and guests can enjoy a party and not worry about a noise complaint, yet we’re not too far away that it’s difficult to get to. We’re just 5 miles east of I-35. We allow fireworks, sparklers, and open flames inside. We have a really nice back patio and fire pit which are so perfect for just hanging out and talking. But my #1 favorite thing is the view from the back….it really can’t be beat! 160 acres of rolling hills complete with trees and a gorgeous pond, I mean, come on!
Me: What amenities do you offer couples who book their weddings at Hudson Springs?
HS: We want to help make the wedding planning process fun and stress-free for our couples, so we include a lot to make sure our couples have everything they need! First of all, they get all-day access to the building so they have plenty of time to get everything set up. They can get into our building as early as 9am! We have great bridal and groom suites to get ready in, with natural light for photographers to capture great photos in, bathrooms, couches, mirrors, everything they need. We have a full caterers kitchen, which most couples might not think anything of, but caterers love it! We don’t require our couples to use certain vendors-they can bring in anyone they want and make their day special and unique to them! We can accommodate parties of up to 400 guests, and we provide 25 large round tables, 6 rectangular tables, two gorgeous, custom-made farmhouse tables, and 200 white garden chairs that can be used inside and outside. We can also provide linens for an extra fee of getting them cleaned after use. As I mentioned before, our property is on 160 acres of gorgeous land, and we can drive our couples around on a ranger to different areas of the property for portraits-they are welcome to use anything they want! On top of all that, our couples also get a day-of wedding coordinator to make sure that if any questions or issues come up, someone is already on site to handle it and keep the day moving along smoothly.
Me: Wow! That sounds amazing! Can your couples use the space for a wedding rehearsal and dinner as well?
HS: Yes! Included in their rental is a 1-hour rehearsal time that can be scheduled during the week prior to the wedding. If they’d like to also have their rehearsal dinner here, additional hours can be rented. They can also use the venue for bridal portraits if they’d like!
Me: Is there anything else you’d like readers to know about Hudson Springs?
HS: Since we opened less than a year ago, we have just had such an outpouring of support. We have enjoyed meeting so many different vendors, community members, and couples! We’re so excited for all of our weddings this year and we’re ready to serve our couples on the best day of their lives!
