Last October I took family pictures for the Oxsen’s.  Lana brought a blank chalk board with her and asked if we could take a couple of pictures with it, juuuuust in case they had some exiting news to share a few weeks later.  They had been praying and praying for a baby, and sure enough, she didn’t know it yet but she was actually pregnant during that photo session!!  When she texted me the news with the announcement drawn onto the chalk board, my eyes immediately filled with tears.

This maternity session was extra sweet (even though moments before we arrived the skies went DARK and a storm was rolling in!). The kids were giddy with excitement for their new baby brother, with lots of sweet hugs and kisses to the bump.  I love how this mama incorporated a rainbow in her oldest daughter’s dress to honor their precious rainbow baby. I’m so excited for baby Boone to be here!!
