Katlynn and Haskell | A Colorful Pensacola Beach Destination Wedding

I am so so excited to share Katlynn and Haskell’s gorgeous wedding day with you all!!! Katlynn is a wedding planner here in Oklahoma and owns her own wedding planning company, Forever Blushing Events, so she thought of every tiny little detail! Her color scheme was TO DIE FOR with different shades of pink, bight pops of color, and big green Florida palm leaves. D R E A M Y. My color-loving heart was so happy when she told me what she was planning, and I may or may not have squealed with excitement when I walked into her venue and saw her florals!

Katlynn and Haskell chose to get married in Pensacola Beach because that is one of their favorite vacation spots AND that’s where Haskell popped the question last summer! How special is that?? When I first arrived to Florida, I was met with nonstop rain, which also happened to be the forecast for the rest of the weekend. Cue the freaking out. Miraculously though, Saturday morning we woke up to clear skies and sunshine! The day was so relaxed and full of fun with Katlynn and her girls! Before we knew it it was time to head to the beach for the ceremony!

We headed out to the car and noticed the skies getting a little dark. Before we had even pulled out of the parking lot it was DOWNPOURING. We drove over the bridge out to the island in what seemed like a monsoon, not sure what we were going to do. When we arrived to the beach, the rain had let up just slightly into a heavy mist, and Katlynn told us we were just going to get it done quickly. I don’t know HOW in the world, but about 10 minutes into their very wet ceremony, THE RAIN STOPPED. The sun baaaaarely peaked out for us and stayed for the rest of their ceremony and ALL of their portraits! It was a true wedding day miracle!!! The rest of the night was such a rocking party, complete with a surprise choreographed bridesmaids dance (scroll down to see!) and a stunning sparkler exit. It was truly such a fun fun day celebrating the new Mr. and Mrs. Browning!

It was such an honor to travel to Florida for Katlynn and Haskell! They have such a sweet and solid relationship. Haskell is quiet and reserved; Katlynn is bold and outgoing. Together, they complement each other perfectly, and I wish them a lifetime of happiness!
